Welcome to Fairbanks Safety Alerts! Fairbanks Safety Alerts is the official emergency alert system for the City of Fairbanks. Fairbanks Safety Alerts is powered by Smart911 and allows you to sign up to start receiving text, email, and phone alerts during emergencies near your home, work, or school. Types of alerts include missing persons, road closures, police activity notifications, and more.
Note: the majority of alert messages sent from our departments will be via text and email. If you do not wish to create a profile but you would like to receive text message alerts from Fairbanks Police Department, simply text FPDALERTS to 67283.
About Smart911
Smart911 is a free service that allows individuals to create a Safety Profile for their household that can include any information they may want 9-1-1 call takers and first responders to have in the event of an emergency.
